The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili discussed cooperation in trade-economic sphere, having noted the desire to increase trade turnover between the two countries in the short term up to 1 billion dollars at least, the press service of the head of state.
“Focused on sectoral cooperation, primarily in trade-economic sphere. It was noted the desire of the parties to bring in the near future the trade turnover between the countries, at least up to 1 billion dollars”, – reported in a press-service of the President.

The sides positively assessed the work of the Ukrainian-Georgian business forum and noted the importance of enhancing the activities of the working groups of the intergovernmental Ukrainian-Georgian Commission on economic cooperation.
Recall that this year Ukraine and Georgia will celebrate the 25th anniversary of resumption of diplomatic relations. In the framework of the official visit of Hillary Clinton to Georgia, signed the Declaration on the establishment of strategic partnerships between States.
