Ukraine has increased the “green tariff”

The national Commission, carrying out state regulation in spheres of power and utilities (NKREKU), due to the appreciation of the Euro has raised the “green tariff” in Ukraine.

Thus, the national Commission adopted a resolution “About establishment of “green tariff” for electric energy and allowances for “green tariffs” for compliance with the level of utilization of equipment of Ukrainian origin for business entities”, and also the decree “About establishment of “green tariff” for electric energy for private households”.

In the calculation of the green tariff was considered the average rate of Euro as of may 31, 2017 June 29, 2017 – 29,25 UAH/EUR.

So, “green tariffs” increased relative to the third quarter of 2016 by almost 5% due to the appreciation of the Euro.
For economic entities that produce electrical energy from wind energy, with capacity not exceeding 600 kW, put into operation before 31 March 2013, the rate is 189,01 kopecks. per kW/h; for those entities, the capacity of which exceeds 2000 kW, put into operation before 31 December 2014 – 330,78 kopecks. per kW/h.

In this case, for wind farms, the capacity of which exceeds 2000 kW commissioned from 1 January until 31 December 2016 297,7 kopecks. per kW/h, and with the 10% surcharge for the use of equipment of the Ukrainian production – 327,47 kopecks. per kW/h.

For economic entities which produce electric energy from biomass and biogas, the rate – 362,28 kopecks. per kW/h.

For economic entities that produce electricity from solar energy by ground facilities put into operation on March 31, 2013, the rate is 1360,91 kopecks. per kW/h, on 31 December 2014 – 992,33 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 January to 30 June 2015 – 893,09 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 July to 31 December 2015 – 496,16 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 January until 31 December 2016 – 467,81 kopecks. per kW/h, and with 5% allowances for the use of equipment of the Ukrainian production – 491,2 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2019 – 439,46 kopecks. per kW/h.

For solar plants with power over 10 MW commissioned up to March 31, 2013, the rate is 756,06 kopecks. per kW/h.

For solar power plants, mounted on the roofs and facades of buildings with power higher than 100 kW put into operation before 31 March 2013, rate – 1304,2 kopecks. per kW/h until 31 December 2014 – 1020,68 kopecks. per kW/h.

For solar power plants, mounted on the roofs and facades of buildings whose capacity less than 100 kW put into operation before 31 March 2013 – 1247,5 kopecks. per kW/h, up to 31 December 2014 – 1049,03 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 January 2015 to 30 Jun 2015 – 943,05 kopecks. per kW/h.

For solar power plants, mounted on the roofs and facades of buildings regardless power, put into operation from 1 July 2015 to 31 December 2015, – 527,67 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016 – 504,04 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2019 – 478,84 kopecks. per kW / h.

For micro and mini hydropower plants commissioned until 31 March 2013 to 31 December 2014, 340,23 kopecks. per kW/h.

For mini-hydropower plants commissioned from 1 April 2013 to 31 December 2014, 453,64 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 January 2016 until 31 December 2019 – 407,19 kopecks. per kW/h from 1 April 2013 until 31 December 2014 – 567,04 kopecks. per kW/h.

For micro-hydropower plants commissioned from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2019 – 510,34 kopecks. per kW/h, and with the 5% surcharge for the use of equipment of the Ukrainian production – 535,86 kopecks. per kW/h, including a 10% premium – 561,37 kopecks. per kW/h.

As you know, the green tariff is a special tariff that is purchased electricity produced using alternative energy sources. Wholesale electricity market of Ukraine in the face of GP “Energorynok” is obliged to buy electricity from “green tariff”. The possibility of sales by “green tariff” directly to consumers provided.
