International criminal police organization (Interpol) was removed from the wanted list of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his son Alexander.

“According to the Ukrainian national Bureau of Interpol, the Commission for control over files Interpol ordered his Secretariat to remove from search Yanukovych and his son Oleksandr,” said the police.
However, the Agency has not explained, what is the reasoning of this decision.
As reported today by the law firm Joseph Hage Aaronson LLP issued a press release in which it said that Interpol was removed from the wanted list ex-the President Yanukovych and his son Alexander.
“Interpol in its resolution, adopted during the session 27 February – 3 March 2017, were removed from their databases red notice issued in July 2015, in respect of President Viktor Yanukovych, and the data contained in its files in relation to the son of President Yanukovych, Oleksandr Yanukovych. Interpol confirmed that President Viktor Yanukovych and his son Oleksandr Yanukovych, do not apply the red notice of Interpol or special request about the arrest, and that they are not known in the databases of Interpol,” – said in a press release.
