The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko harshly criticized the idea of some politicians regarding the rejection of Donbass.
“Sadly to say on the Day of unification, but we have political forces, which in a carefully veiled form invites us to abandon the Donbass… Want to address this policy question: Lord, as you have gathered these areas to throw them?”, he said at the celebrations on the occasion of day of conciliarity of Ukraine on Sunday in Kiev.
Poroshenko noted that these urge to “act with the inhabitants of the occupied areas as if they are no longer our Ukrainian citizens”.
“This strategy is 100% to the world will not. Russia’s aim is not Donetsk or Luhansk, Russia’s goal is the whole Ukraine, not just Crimea or Sevastopol”, – said the President.
