MP from “popular front” Leonid Yemets believes that it is necessary to strictly put the question about the absence of MPs in Parliament who have decided to attend the inauguration of US President Donald trump. He declared it on air of TV channel NewsOne.
He believes that parliamentarians emitted in the United States, breaking the oath as elected officials, and thereby commit treason.
“The deputies who are absent at the meeting of Parliament, violate the oath and the promises made to the voters. I think that actually committing treason,” said Yemets.
He urged to establish the names of those who flew on oath trump and give publicity.
At the same time, he noted that those Ukrainian politicians who will be able to meet with the President of the United States or its surroundings, have to tell about the Ukrainian position.
“I am sure that some members use this opportunity (a visit to the inauguration – ed.) to communicate with the President himself, if you’re lucky, or at least with its surroundings. They need to bring them the position of Ukraine”, – said Yemets.
In turn nanny the Deputy Borislav Bereza believes that there is nothing wrong in attending the inauguration of the trump, as the need to use every opportunity to reach out to the new American administration.
