The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the composition of the public Council of the National Agency for corruption prevention (NACP). The corresponding decree of 5 April 2017 No. 231-R taken at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Reportedly, the decision was made pursuant to the law “On corruption prevention” for the implementation of public control over the activities of the NACP.
The composition of this Board includes representatives of the Ukrainian and regional public organizations.
We will remind, on March 2, the National Agency for prevention of corruption has approved the draft regulation on the establishment of the Public Council and the approval of its composition.
According to the law, the Council carries out public control over the activities of the NACP, hears information on activities, implementation of its plans and objectives, approves annual reports on the activities, gives opinions on the results of examination of projects of acts and delegates to participate in the meetings of the NACP his representative with a consultative vote.
As reported, members of the national Agency at the meeting of April 7 are unable to dismiss Natalia Korchak as head of the NACP.
Earlier, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman criticized the work of the head of the NACP due to the inability to organize the work of the registry e-filing.
In turn, Korczak declared that does not intend to resign in connection with the relevant proposal of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
