The first meeting of the Trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Donbas in 2017 will take place on January 16. This was reported by press Secretary of the Ukrainian representative in the Contact group Leonid Kuchma Darka olifer, reports NewsOne.
Assistant Kuchma announced the date of the meeting, but did not specify what issues will be discussed by the negotiators.
“January 16 will be held in Minsk meeting of the Trilateral contact group,” said Darka olifer.
Recall, the last meeting a member of the tripartite contact group in Minsk took place on December 21. At the meeting the parties failed to agree on the mode of silence in the Donbass, which was to begin from December 24. However, as it turned out, the militants did not intend to adhere to the agreements and did not hesitate to attack the Ukrainian military from all types of weapons.
