Ukraine is interested in expansion of the positive presence of Ukrainian themes in the Turkish media scene. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim, the press service of the CMU.
According to the press service, Groisman the initiative to open a representative office of the most powerful broadcasting company of Turkey TRT Ukraine and discoveries in its part of the Ukrainian edition, which could produce programmes in Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages.
The Ukrainian side is ready to assist in the implementation of these projects, and to expand the Turkish subject in the Ukrainian media space, assured the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Among other things, the parties touched upon the issues of energy cooperation. Volodymyr Groysman reminded that in the end of March will be held the next meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish Working group on energy issues.
Also, Groisman invited the Prime Minister of Turkey, Binali Yildirim of to make a visit to Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine and Turkey have agreed on mutual entry of citizens by ID cards.
