The United States will make efforts to help Ukraine to establish peace and security in the country. This was stated by the managing Director of strategy and policy, headquarters U.S. forces in Europe major General David Allvin during a meeting with first Deputy Minister of defense of Ukraine Ivan Rusnak, the press service of the defense Ministry.
The meeting was devoted to discussion of the issue of providing assistance to Ukraine in the security sphere.
“The United States of America and Ukraine are partners. We will make every effort to help establish peace and security in the territory of your country,” said Allvin.
In turn Rusnak informed the members of the American delegation on the situation in the East of Ukraine and thanked for the support.
“The United States is a strategic partner of Ukraine, and we greatly appreciate your help. This particularly applies to military-technical assistance. All the property and equipment is accounted for and used in accordance with the relevant documents,” he said.
The sides discussed aspects of future cooperation and outlined priority areas of bilateral cooperation continue.
