Funding of emergency medical care, the government has allocated an additional 1.26 billion UAH. This at a daily briefing on the situation with coronavirus were reported by the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov.

“June 19 of this year was the appropriate decision of the government to raise the rate at which it calculated the allocation of funds for emergency medical care. We increased it by 40%… According to General estimates, according to this government decision, the amount of funds allocated is 1 billion 260 million UAH until the end of the year. It will be a rate increase starting 1 July and to the end of the 2020 year”, – said the Minister.

According to Stepanov, the additional funds will go to increasing wages, strengthening the material-technical base of separate funds 922 million for the acquisition of machinery emergency medical care.

“We plan to buy about 400 cars, which will be distributed among the regions,” he said.

In General, according to Stepanova, for renewal must be purchased 1,800 cars.

According to him, the funds will also go to training centers where paramedics and doctors will improve their skills.
