Oil fever: what made the situation worse

Analysts attributed the strong fluctuations on the market of black gold

Oil prices continued to fall amid growing tension in relations between the US and China. However, in General, oil prices may rise conclude: Brent rose this month to 39%, and WTI to a record 76%.

Thus, on 29 may, the price of July futures for Brent crude on London’s ICE Futures exchange at 10:35 Moscow time made 34,79 USD per barrel. Expiration of the July Brent contract expires today. The more actively traded August futures fell by 0.69 dollars (1,92%), to 35.34 per barrel.
