Judge of the Supreme court of Ukraine suspended for drunk driving

The removal will be effective until the dismissal of the judge or cancellation of the decision of the disciplinary chamber

The high Council of justice (SCJ) of Ukraine, who was suspended from the exercise of justice, the Odessa judge Dmitry Zaporozhan, has also applied sanctions in respect of other senior judges.

As reported in management information and ensure communication activities of VSP, 2 March 2019 judge of the civil court of Cassation in the Supreme court Valentin Serdyuk stopped on the road.

As it turned out, he was driving drunk and refused a breathalyzer. He fined the amount of 10 thousand UAH and was deprived of the right to drive a car for a year.
