The national Council on television and radio broadcasting sent a letter of protest to the TV World Fashion Channel Europa S. R. L. in connection with the demonstration of the map of Russia with annexed Crimea in one of the programs. This is stated in the message on the website of the national Council.
As stated in the national Council, a demonstration of map of Russia with Crimea violates Ukrainian law and is contrary to international law.

“The regulator sent a letter to the TV World Fashion Channel Europa S. R. L., engaged in the retransmission of foreign programs World Fashion Channel, the jurisdiction of Italy informed on the revealed violations of the current legislation regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that in the case of ignoring the appeal of the Ukrainian side of the program, in which the Crimea was shown part of Russia, may be banned in Ukraine.

“The regulator has turned to television with the requirement to take all possible measures to prevent the spread posted on the website of false information in the part territorial jurisdiction of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In another case, the national Council will be the basis to consider the recorded violations of the legislation as a hostile attitude to the Ukrainian audience and to the Ukrainian state as a whole”, – stated in the national Council.
