Ukraine’s GDP in 2017 may be higher than forecast.

GDP growth of Ukraine after 2017 might be higher than previously projected 1.6 percent. About it reports a press-service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

“In General, the current dynamics of the real variables and the results of the first half of 2017 show an increase in the likelihood that economic growth by the end of 2017 will exceed the forecast of the National Bank (1.6% yoy), published in the Inflation report for July 2017,” – said the NBU.

While the regulator believes that a slight slowdown in the economy of Ukraine will continue in the second half of 2017.

We will remind, earlier the national Bank of Ukraine has revised its forecast for real GDP growth of Ukraine in 2017, reducing it to 1.6%.

The Ukrainian government has built a budget-2017 forecast GDP growth of 3% with an inflation rate of 8.1%.
