The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in 2018-2020 no longer intends to issue bonds of internal state loan (government bonds) for capitalization of the state banks. This was announced by Deputy Minister Oksana Markarova.
“In the Budget resolution which we have submitted to Parliament at the end of may, we determined that they no longer plan to issue government bonds for recapitalization (state of banks and other financial institutions – Ed.). The only thing we plan to issue government bonds is the Fund for guaranteeing deposits of natural persons in small quantities,” she said.
We will remind, in June the Cabinet decided to capitalize public Privat 38.5 billion UAH, and the first phase was planned to issue bonds to the amount of UAH 22.5 billion.
