The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine changed the procedure for the implementation of dimensional and weight control of trucks and decided to purchase 78 points weight control of trucks. The decision was taken on 30 August at the government meeting.
Thus, the Cabinet adopted the resolution “On amendments to the procedure for gabaritno-weight control and toll collection of roads in General use of vehicles and other self-propelled machines and mechanisms, weight and/or size parameters of which exceed normative.”
“The draft has been developed with the objective of harmonizing definitions gabaritno-weight control and simplify its implementation”, – said the Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan.
According to him, the document particularly provides for the exclusion of certain types of controls that are duplicated, coordinates implementation procedures gabaritno-weight control and provides drivers who carry out international carriage of goods, the ability to use the international certificate of weighing.

Recall that in 2015 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has banned the movement of vehicles with an actual mass more than 40 tonnes and container ships of more than 46 tons on roads of General use when transporting divisible loads. This decision was formalized by decree of the government No. 869 of October 21 2015.
