NBU changed the rules of issuing hryvnia loans

The national Bank of Ukraine (the “NBU”) allowed Ukrainian banks to make loans in the national currency secured by foreign currency customer deposits. This reports the press service of the regulator.

According to the report, the relevant decree No. 82 shall come into force on August 30.

In NBU reminded that so far a Bank were prohibited. The regulator noted that such a step will contribute to the revival of Bank lending.

We will remind, earlier the national Bank lifted restrictions for foreign currency deposits.
