An overdose of vitamin b can lead to death – scientists

American and Taiwanese scientists have evaluated lethal effects of overdose of vitamin B. a study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and briefly about it reports the Ohio state University (USA).

Long-term use of high doses of vitamins B6 and B12 (daily at 20 milligrams and 55 micrograms per day for ten years), as shown by the authors, is one of the risk factors of lung cancer in men, says Lenta.ru. So, an overdose of B6 three times increases the probability of occurrence of the disease, and B12 — four, compared to those who do not consume supplements.

To such conclusions scientists have analyzed these studies, including more than 77 thousand people aged 50 to 76 years. People lived in Washington, was examined in the period from 2000 to 2002 and provided data on the use of vitamin b for the past ten years.
