Ukraine is 45% filled gas storage

As of 15 August, the reserves of gas in underground storages (UGS) of Ukraine amounted to 13.96 billion cubic meters this is evidenced by the operational data of the “Ukrtransgaz”.

Thus, the store is filled to approximately 45%.

During the day August 15 UGS pumped 42,09 million cubic meters of gas. Of them 22,93 million cubic meters came from Slovakia and the rest from Hungary.

We will remind, as of end of July in UGS of Ukraine was almost 13 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 20% higher than last year’s inventory at that date.

Earlier, the Minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasaliki declared plans to accumulate in UGS of Ukraine by 1 October 2017 17 billion cubic meters of gas during the heating season 2017-2018.

From November 2015, Ukraine does not buy gas directly from the Russian “Gazprom”, because all imported fuel into the country in reverse.
