Sex for weight loss: how much and with whom

Of all the ways to burn calories sex is one of the most enjoyable. However, a recent study found that calorie consumption is not as high as I would like to believe.

A team of scientists from the University of Montreal compared the calories burned while Jogging and sex and found that running far ahead of “bed exercise”. Women burned an average of 213 calories during a 30 minute run, while the men – 276. Sex demanded 101 calories from men and only 69 were from women, writes “New time”, citing the People.

Why is guys burn more calories during sex? “Men weigh more than women, and because of this, the power consumption will be higher in men while performing the same exercise,” says the study’s author, Professor of human kinetics at the University of Montreal Anthony karelis. He adds that men can also be more physically active during sex.

In this study, the sex usually lasted 25 minutes, including foreplay. One study in the New England journal of Medicine showed that the average sex lasts six minutes (although this figure does not include foreplay).

Study participants, whose age averaged 23 years, could also have a more active sex than the average person. A study in the American journal of cardiology claims that doormatica stage of sex, which is most of the time, hardly require more energy than walking. Especially among older couples in long-term relationships, sex is unlikely to speed up your heart rate or energy output.

However, you can hack the schema of their normal sexual life. The number of calories burned during sex varies widely depending on the circumstances, says karelis, so if you sweat and breathe hard at the end, you probably burned more energy. Posture is also important: studies show that the partner on top takes more energy than one that bottom.
In addition, sex with a “forbidden” partner can also increase calorie consumption.

In one study in the European Heart Journal it was discovered that 75% of sudden deaths from a heart attack during sex are associated with an extramarital partner. Dangerous sex more accelerates your heart rate, and therefore can provide the best “training”.
