In Ukraine for the period from 2015 onwards have not missed more than 20 thousand citizens of Russia. The head of the state border service Peter Cigital told in exclusive interview to “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“If we talk about statistics, 2015 through August 3, 2017 denied entry to more than 20 thousand Russians. The figures indicate that still most of the failures have been in 2015 to 10.9 thousand in 2017 is about 3 thousand Russian citizens”, – said Chical.
He noted that the main reasons for refusal of entry unreasonable, the purpose of the trip, the exceeded term of registration, no proof of financial security reason.
“If we talk about the ban on entry, then today we are talking about 3 thousand 148 citizens of the Russian Federation. Of these, nearly 100 is a well-known Russian actors and public persons, mostly illegally visited the Crimea”, – said the head of the state border service.
As it became known on July 28, popular Russian singer Mitya Fomin denied entry to Ukraine for a period of three years. This is caused because of his controversial statements regarding the “Russian Crimea”
