British author JK Rowling apologized for his critical remarks against the American President Donald trump. Previously the author of a series of novels about Harry Potter has condemned the White house for their inattention to the boy on a wheelchair during a conference on health care reform. The appeal of the writer was posted on her Twitter page on Monday, writes TASS.
“Numerous sources have told me that my tweets about a little boy in a wheelchair whose outstretched hand, the President has ignored, not true. I very clearly expressed its concern at the dismissive attitudes toward people with disabilities that I noticed in that video. If their messages did I hurt the boy or his family, I offer my sincere apologies”, – commented on his behavior Rowling, adding that it will delete my previous posts on the subject and leave only the tweets with an apology.

The video that so outraged the writer, was shot on July 24 at a press conference the White house on the health care reform. Among the invited families were three-year-old boy Montgomery VIR suffering from the syndrome spina bifida. Rowling claimed that trump, welcoming the guests with a handshake, and ignored Montgomery. However, as explained by the Washington Post, the writer watched the incomplete version of the episode – in the video released by the White house shows that us President separately approached the boy and sat down specially to say Hello.

Message Rowling, published on July 28, was widely publicized and was criticized for unreliability. The boy’s mother, Marjorie Kelly VIR also spoke in defense of trump. “Somebody pass John.To. Rowling: trump did not hurt my son, but Monty never even tried to shake his hand”, – she wrote on his page in Facebook.
