The trade turnover between Ukraine and Japan from the beginning of 2017, up 40%. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, transfers a press-service of the Cabinet.
So, Groysman had a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine Shigeki Sumi, which he thanked Japan for its full political support of Ukraine, in particular in maintaining territorial integrity, Japan’s participation in the projects to overcome the consequences of Russian aggression and provide financial assistance for reform.

Ambassador Sumi, in turn, noted that Japan is interested in joint projects – in particular in the energy and infrastructure sectors, in continuation of the projects on radiation safety and participate in the implementation of the strategy for reforming the state banks.
Groysman informed that today, July 19, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting will adopt a plan of measures for holding the year of Japan in Ukraine.
