The armed forces of Ukraine up to the end of the year are armed with modernized tanks T-72. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his stay in Lviv armored plant, reports 112.ua.
According to him, the armed forces will do the tank 72.
“On my instructions, 72 modernized tanks T-72 this year your efforts should go into the Armed forces. We buy the newest, made in Lviv, cars, we saw the possibility of a new fire truck based on the T-72”, – said Poroshenko.
The President also reported that more than 300 million UAH will go is to purchase new tanks “Oplot” for the Ukrainian troops.
