The United States moved to action: they plan to become the leader of the informal Association “Initiative of the three seas” and unite the interests of the 12 States in the geopolitical space between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black sea. This whole area had or still has significance for Russia and Germany, which enjoyed the influence for over two centuries and really need it today. Main participants of the “Initiative of the three seas” — the poles, who see themselves as “axis force” that can compete with Germany in the region and even “neutralize” the interests of Russia in the Baltic and Black seas.
“The initiative of the three seas” brings together 12 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. This informal “initiative” includes neither Russia, not Serbia. At the summit in Dubrovnik in 2016 as the invited guests were delegations from Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Turkey. Also present were representatives of the United States and China.
Russia was not invited, and Serbia. “The initiative of the three seas” — method of distribution by means of a so-called soft power of the US’s own political, military primarily in the energy impact and to limit the role of Russia in this region. By the way, 11 members (out of 12) lobbying that American enterprises are members of NATO.
Energy gas war USA vs Russia and the destruction of the EU?
We are talking about the formation of energy independence from Russia by means of Poland and the United States as a self-appointed “leader” of this Association and of trying to force Europe to buy more American LNG. New plan to reduce its energy dependence from Moscow entails the import of American gas from Croatia (via pipeline Krk) in all countries down to the Black sea. Now the Russian Federation through the project, Nord stream not only supplies a large part of the EU’s gas, but also makes Germany a leader in the transfer of gas across the EU and its major partner. In the South of Europe via the “Turkish stream” Russia could link the countries of South-Eastern Europe into a single energy corridor. Russian influence will spread through Turkey and the Black sea and through the Baltic and Germany. The US does not need neither Germany nor Turkey, where a strong Russian influence. Poland perceives itself as an element of American policy in the Baltic, operating against the interests of Russia and Germany, which connects the ambitions of Ukraine.
Uniting 12 States of the non-governmental Association, backed by North Atlantic energy relations, the US wants to weaken the influence of Germany and Russia in all three sea basins, however, this is unrealistic. America is interested in the fact that 12 members of this Association, created in Warsaw under the wing of President Donald trump fit into the “business plan” of the United States. Signatory countries is 22% of the territory of the EU, but their share in the GNP of the European Union — just 10%. Association — primarily infrastructure and energy — the three sea basins in the region of Central and Eastern Europe reduce energy dependence on Germany and contributes to the extension of American influence.
In the framework of the “Initiative of the three seas” planned General infrastructure projects such as the highway between North and South through the East of Europe. This so-called “via Carpatia” and “help” the poor regions along the Eastern border of the European Union. So the US is gradually making a split EU and create our own economic “Union” of interests on an informal basis, thereby undermining the position of Russia, Germany, and Turkey in Europe. The United States is doing everything that the European Union has dissolved and disintegrated and most eloquently evidenced by American support for “Breccia”. All of this suggests that Europe is included into sphere of strategic interests of the United States. Using Europe, America maneuvers in the crises in Ukraine and the middle East, but also affect the threat to Europe’s migration crisis, waging an asymmetric war with the “Islamic state” (banned in Russia — approx. ed.).
Serbia as “the Appendix” on the geopolitical map of Europe?
In this regard, the United States in their usual manner foster the disorder in Europe and the EU, bring the EU member States Germany, Germany, France and other countries — to Turkey, and all together — to Russia. This strategy of “Divide and conquer” known since the times of Emperor Caesar, and was used even by Hitler and Stalin. In addition, the course is “soft power” and the pressure on Russia. Serbia with its parameters is an “Appendix” in the Balkans, where it joins the political “toxins” of the West and the East, without bringing any benefits and pillaging of the nation. “The initiative of the three seas” — an example of how using “soft” revival austrohungary interests undermined the position of Germany and how smart you can turn everyone against the Russia and Turkey. The value here small Serbia, and it can be circumvented corridors and apply energy blackmail. That’s why the position of the President of Serbia, claiming that Serbia will pursue a sovereign and independent policy, far from reality. Independent policy can’t afford even the strongest EU countries. Serbia is unlikely to be able to pursue an Autonomous state and national politics, because it is energetically dependent on the interests of the powerful and big countries and its economic stability the country is forced to associate with the IMF. It is important that Kosovo is detached from Serbia and is under the protection of NATO, the US and the EU.
The path of Serbia into the EU is associated with the national humiliation and concessions, which do not require from other countries. The status of the country in the next five to ten years is unknown. Now Serbia link their interests with the EU — or Germany — as well as Russia, Turkey and China. On the other hand, using the “Initiative of the three seas” the United States eliminate or limit the influence of Germany, Russia and Turkey, which are extremely important for the Balkans and Serbia. It is clear that Russian gas delivered via Nord stream and the future “Turkish stream” is “pulse stability” in Europe and the EU, but the US administration and major corporations — a different view on this.
