Poroshenko signed a law on the rehabilitation of children

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed Law of Ukraine No. 2081-VIII “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine on the organization of rehabilitation and recreation of children, save the children’s network of health institutions”. About it reports a press-service of the President.

The law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 6 June 2017. The document regulates the better realization of the rights of children, especially vulnerable groups, health promotion and recreation.

The law expands the list of categories of children entitled to recreation and leisure at the expense of state and local budgets, funds of enterprises, institutions and organizations, trade unions and foundations, voluntary contributions of legal entities and individuals, as well as through other sources.

The document also clarifies the powers of state bodies in the sphere of improvement and rest of children, like the order of creation, reorganization and liquidation of the children’s institutions of rehabilitation and recreation.

The act establishes liability for failure or representation not in full details for inclusion in the State register of property of objects of improvement and rest of children.

The implementation of the provisions of the law, noted in a press-service of the President, to strengthen control over the activities of children’s institutions of rehabilitation and recreation.
