The General staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine (APU) preliminary results of the conscription officers.
About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of defence.
It is noted that the activities of the appeal, which was held in Ukraine for the first time, was very organized and timely.
“Only in the military Commissariat arrived 1000 reserve officers, of which 59 were women. Every fourth has declared its intention to continue to perform military service already under contract. Among the designed 80% are under the age of 35 years”, – stated in the message of the Ministry of defense.

Now officers have undergone training courses at military educational institutions. After that, they will continue to service in the military units.
As reported, on military service in the Armed forces of Ukraine on contract from the beginning of 2017 joined more than 14 thousand Ukrainians. Primarily contractors join combat positions in the crew (calculations) combat vehicles.
