Antonov wants along with the USA to jointly develop the project of the modernized military transport aircraft An-77, the press service of the company on Facebook.
It is reported that the Ukrainian company was visited by a delegation of the Committee of transport and infrastructure of the house of representatives of the Congress of the United States. During the visit, he discussed cooperation between Ukraine and USA in the aviation industry.
“Antonov” presented a proposal for a joint development program of the An-77 an upgraded version of the medium-sized military transport aircraft short takeoff and landing. Was invited to collaborate on this project with the broad participation of American aircraft manufacturers and suppliers of equipment,” – said in a statement.
It is noted that the implementation of this project will require interaction with bodies of state aviation regulation and control of the State aviation service of Ukraine and the U.S. FAA.
