The government of Congo announced the end of the Ebola epidemic

The two-month outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) ceased for the last 42 days did not reveal a single case of a new infection reported by Western media, citing the country’s Ministry of health.

In all there were eight cases of infection with Ebola virus, four of which were fatal.

The Ministry of health of the DRC confirmed using a new experimental vaccine to fight the virus.

It is noted that the Ebola outbreak in DRC was recorded about a year after graduating in West Africa the most deadly epidemic of the disease. Then the virus died more than 11.3 thousand people, and the number of infected has reached 28.6 thousand people.
