Durov has agreed to provide Roskomnadzor data Telegram

The owner of Telegram Pavel Durov agreed to provide Roskomnadzor with company information from open sources for inclusion in the register of the organizers of disseminating information. About it reports “112 Ukraine” with reference to “Interfax”.

While Durov has warned that it will not implement the laws that are not compatible with the protection of private life and the privacy policy of the company.

“The head of Roskomnadzor disown desires to access the personal communications of users of Telegram and stated that all he expects from us for the implementation of the law, is providing information on the company’s Telegram,” – said Durov.

The owner of the Telegram noted that if the desire of the regulator are limited, he has no objection to the use of these data for the registration of a Telegram in the register of the organizers of the dissemination of information.

“However, we do not comply with unconstitutional and technically impossible “the law of Spring” – as well as other laws that are not compatible with the protection of private life and privacy policy Telegram” – said Durov.

“I can’t predict how this statement will affect the position of the regulator, but sure of one thing: if Telegram will be blocked in Russia, this will happen not because we refused to provide information about our company,” concluded the owner of the Telegram.
