The position of the President of France Emmanuel Makron is to not give the Russian side to delay the time. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin, transfers TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“First, we are talking about a telephone conversation in “channel format”, which I hope will take place soon, and the position of the President of the Makron that “pull the cat’s tail”, as does Russia, he won’t make the Russian side, and will try in coordination with us and our German friends push us to get the results, and how to work on a road map and to achieve concrete results in two key areas: safety and release of hostages”, – said Klimkin.
He shared his impressions from the meeting in France.
“The experience is really cool. For me it was important in the context of meeting with my new colleague, foreign Minister of France, Le Drian, who we have agreed that I will visit Paris soon, and probably French and German Ministers will visit Ukraine. I really like the style of the President of Macron. This combination of attention to detail, understanding of the details and at the same time the level of strategic analysis. It is this understanding of where we are, where we have come, the need to make very clear steps,” – said Klimkin.
He added that he discussed economic issues and France now have the chance to become a leader in helping Ukraine to reform the civil service.

“Because really, the OSCE mission should monitor the whole situation, it will also be a very important point in the following discussions of the “Norman format”. And not only”, – the Minister added.
