Germany issued a souvenir banknote par value zero Euro. About it reports “112 Ukraine” with reference to the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung.
Bill released a limited edition of 5,000 pieces and sold at € 2.50. It is printed on the same paper as regular euros, and has all degrees of protection, including watermarks and holograms.
Note that the bill is not a payment instrument, but the European Central Bank (ECB) officially gave permission for its printing.
It also reported that the bill shows the training ship German Navy “Gorch Fock II”, 1958, home port is Kiel. In 1961-1990 years this ship was depicted on the banknote of 10 stamps of the German Bundesbank.
We will remind, the national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) plans to introduce a bill denominated in UAH 1,000 – calculations of the national Bank showed the optimality of introducing such a large bill.
