Russia supports terrorists around the world – Friz

Russia is not only a country that tries to destabilize the situation in other States, but also supports terrorist organizations around the world. This was stated by people’s Deputy of Ukraine faction of the party “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Irina Friz.

“And again on the Russian Federation and terrorism. Recently, during the spring session of the NATO PA in Tbilisi, our delegation gave a report on the channels of communication and ligaments of the Russian Federation with terrorist groups in the middle East and Central Asia. Now we are talking about Western Europe, as evidence of support for terrorism comes from Sweden,” said Frieze, commenting on the foreign media that the defendants in the case about explosions in Geteborg, according to the investigation, held a paramilitary training in the Russian Federation.

“So: the defendants in Gothenburg, Sweden (series of explosions) held a paramilitary training in Russia in the camps of the ultra-nationalist “Russian Imperial movement” (ROD) near St. Petersburg. In addition, according to the investigation, the training of terrorists was also the center of tactical and fire training “Guerrillas”, which is closely related to the GENUS” – said the MP.

In her words, “news from Sweden suggests that Russia is not only a country that tries to destabilize the situation in other States, but also supports terrorist organizations around the world, including in Europe”.

“It’s no secret that ultra-nationalist groups in Russia as the centers of their training, are under the control of Russian intelligence agencies, which uses them to their advantage both inside Russia and outside. Therefore, the investigation in Sweden can lead to very serious consequences,” added Freese.

A series of attacks in Gothenburg was held in November 2016 – January 2017. The first explosion occurred on November 11, 2016 in the premises of the forum, where the assembled members of the Swedish left the organization.

5 January 2017, an explosive device detonated at the refugee center in the West of Gothenburg.

A third bomb was found on January 25, 2017 at a campsite on the outskirts of the city, where in this period were placed applicants for asylum.

We will remind, militiamen Norway suspect 17-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation in the planning of the terrorist attack in Oslo.
