The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, described the ratification by the Dutch Parliament of the Association Agreement EU-Ukraine, as the Dutch politicians cheating their constituents. This is stated in the answer of the official representative the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on the issue of the media.
“In fact, the Dutch people, saying (in a referendum – Ed.) “no” Association with Ukraine, was duped. Did it of his own leaders, once again employed the openly Russophobic propaganda, which, incidentally, is a direct confirmation of the anti-Russian essence of the Association Agreement EU-Ukraine, how much would any of us have claimed to the contrary”, – said Zakharov.
As it became known today, the Upper house of the Dutch Parliament (the Senate) supported the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
As reported, the lower house of the Dutch Parliament (House of representatives) 23 Feb officially confirmed the ratification of the Association Agreement with Ukraine.
To complete the process of ratifying the Agreement must also be ratified by the government of the Netherlands.
