Scientists have found out, what diseases kill most people

Experts have published an analysis of global statistics on the causes of deaths. Cardiovascular diseases and provoke one third of deaths among the world population. What do experts in high-income countries, mortality rates from cardiovascular diseases have ceased to decline, and in low-and middle-income levels remain high, reports “Orthodox”.

According to the observations of physicians, between 1990 and 2015, the highest rates of mortality from cardiovascular disease was recorded in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Middle East, South America, Oceania, and Tropical Africa. The lowest share was in Japan, Andorra, Peru, France, Israel and Spain.

In 2015 in the world of over 400 million people had cardiovascular disease, which eventually killed nearly 18 million. From 1990 to 2010 due to the increase in the quality of care in countries with high income, the average mortality rate decreased significantly (393 deaths per 100,000 people to 307 deaths). But then progress slowed down.

Doctors remind: risk factors for cardiovascular disease include high blood pressure, poor nutrition, high cholesterol, Smoking, alcohol abuse and obesity.
