The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine declared that the Russian diplomats permission to visit the detainee at the Donbass Russian military Victor Ageev has to give the investigator or the court which conducts criminal proceedings against him.
This was announced by head of the consular Department of consular service of the MFA of Ukraine Vasily Kirilich.
“There is a clear procedure, which determines to permit the Consul to visit arrested a foreign citizen,” said Kirilich.
Earlier , the Russian foreign Ministry urged Kiev to provide consular access to the detained in the Donbas Russian mercenary Viktor Ageev.
We will remind, the Russian contractor Ageeva born in 1995, the Ukrainian military detained as a part of DRG militants, which was neutralized on June 24 under the Groove in the Luhansk region.
On June 28, the defense Ministry said that captured in the Luhansk region the Russian Ageyev last year, “left in reserve”.
