The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated the leader of the group “Okean Elzy” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk with the birthday. This is stated in his congratulatory message on Facebook.
“Thank you for the incredible emotions that you give to your listeners – in Ukraine and around the world. Thank you, that raised the quality of the Ukrainian song “above the sky” (this name is one of the songs Vakarchuk – ed.). Happy birthday to you, Glory!” – wrote Poroshenko.
Slava Vakarchuk was born on may 14 in the city of Mukachevo, and is also an honorary citizen of the city.
