The relationship with Russia is no longer considered a sin

It could astound many Finns Timo Soini (Timo Soini) invited distinguished guest in Porvoo during the celebration of the first meeting of the Parliament of Finland (meaning Bolosky the diet of 1809, which adopted the autonomy of the Grand Duchy of Finland within the Russian Empire — approx. TRANS.). Most important, however, is the fact that the relations of the neighbouring countries remain good.

After the capture of the Crimea in spring 2014, the desire of the President Sauli Niinistö (Sauli Niinistö) to maintain relations with Russia and President Vladimir Putin criticized both in Finland and abroad, especially in Sweden and the Baltic States. Now the tone has changed dramatically. Censure is heard no more. On the contrary, the role Niinistö increases depending on how often he meets with Putin.

The turning point was the NATO summit in Warsaw in July 2016. In Warsaw acknowledged that with Russia to maintain a dialogue is necessary. After that, the views of the centre for research there was a demand, in particular, and in the circle of EU leaders. The last time the President of Finland met with Putin in Arkhangelsk in March. In the summer, Putin will come to Finland that was discussed during the visit of Sergey Lavrov. However, the bilateral meeting between Putin and U.S. President Donald trump (Donald Trump) in Finland will remain a dream.

2 April in Sochi, German Chancellor Angela Merkel (Angela Merkel) also met with Putin — after a two year hiatus. Communications are supported, although the atmosphere was tense. For Sweden Moscow, too, is no longer a forbidden place, as evidenced by meeting Margot wallström (Margot Wallström) and Lavrov held in Moscow in February.

In Finland and Sweden, however, there are obvious differences. For example, on may 4, wahlström Lavrov sent a letter, together with the foreign Ministers of Britain, France, Germany and the Netherlands, with a demand to stop persecution of homosexuals in Chechnya. In such situations, Finland will remain Finland and Sweden — Sweden.

What a beautiful country Sweden, with which it is always necessary to take an example! Before Finland was Finland, now it is the executor of the orders of the European Union, which suck up the country’s politics. Of course, good relations with Russia — is the best it can be from Finland.

Finland will always serve Russia.

En usko

Finland had already waged a similar conversation in 1939, without good allies. Left as left, and repeat is not necessary. Finland in NATO would be protected from unpredictable policy of Russia.

Great idea to invite Lavrov in Porvoo right now. We note the holding of the diet thanks to Russia. Sweden never gave us autonomy.
