Today, April 22, foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with the Minister of internally displaced persons from the occupied territories, accommodation and refugees of Georgia Sozar Subari and state Minister of Georgia for reconciliation and civil equality Ketevan, Tsikhelashvili, during which the two sides exchanged experience and identified areas of further cooperation. This reports the press service of the foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
Also had a meeting with Klimkin, Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II.
The foreign Minister of Ukraine laid flowers to the Monument of Heroes in Tbilisi and visited the occupation line in the Tskhinvali region near the village of Khurvaleti, Gori municipality.
Recall that in 2008 after the war with Russia, two regions of Georgia – Abkhazia and South Ossetia were occupied.
