In Ukraine, on 30 April, the end of “winter” subsidies. A family with a “discount” on the communal apartment, which saved on heating and used less heat balances in their accounts will lose. Why and from whom the state will take an overpayment

If during the heating season grant was appointed late and the overpayment is private money that is paid before the discount, “savings”, as stated by the Ministry of social policy, not touched.

Who can go without subsidies and why in the next heating season will have to pay more
From the first of may, the Cabinet introduced a new social norm of energy consumption. Innovations Ukrainians will feel in October-November this year, when will come the first bills for heating. Now that the subsidies cover 330 cubic meters heating the apartment with an area of 60 square meters, in the next heating season “utilities discount” will charge only 300 cubic meters. The grant, explain in the Ministry of social policy, can only those Ukrainians who give for communal more than 15% of their income. If after raising the minimum wage to two times the official income of Ukrainians in the summer allows you to pay your own utilities, the discount after the heating season can take.
For example, a family of three with two minimum wages (3200 UAH) should pay for the communal not more than 729 hryvnias, the rest is compensated for by the subsidy.
