The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine does not plan to return to the previous order of scholarship. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a speech before students of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”.
“We offered today to split academic scholarships and social. To young people, having achievements, respectively, received higher stipends … is it Possible to Unscrew that back? No, you cannot. It is necessary today to motivate and encourage those who give the quality of knowledge “, – said the Prime Minister.
As reported in the budget 2017 the scholarship Fund was increased by UAH 580 million to nearly 6 billion UAH.
Recall, the Cabinet has also expanded the list of recipients of social scholarships.
