Poroshenko said the talks with Putin

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that during a telephone conversation in “channel format” with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin and other participants of the talks discussed the situation in Donbas, in particular the cease-fire. About it reports a press-service of the Ukrainian President.

In his opinion, alternatives for the implementation of the Minsk agreements, both in terms of the security and political aspects of the settlement.

Poroshenko also said that participants of the negotiations confirmed the commitment to the strict observance of the ceasefire regime in the Donbas. In addition, as stressed by the head of state, called for more intensive efforts on exchange and release of prisoners in the format “all for all”.

“Thanks to President of France Francois Hollande for his efforts in the “Normandy format”. I hope that this format will continue after the presidential elections in France,” – said the President of Ukraine.
