Georgia received millions of dollars from the IMF

The international monetary Fund (IMF) has allocated Georgia installment in 285,3 million dollars within a three-year program aimed at supporting economic reforms.

“The program will help Georgia to reduce economic vulnerability, to pursue well coordinated economic policies, and to promote economic growth,” said the IMF.

As the Fund, the program includes “ambitious structural reforms” aimed at improving the quality of education, investing in infrastructure, ensuring more efficient public management, and improving the business environment to stimulate private sector.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that Ukraine may receive a fifth tranche from the IMF before the end of June. The fourth tranche for Ukraine was approved by the Foundation in early April. The entire country has received from Fund of almost $ 9 billion programme 17 billion.
