Einstein’s letter was sold for 54 thousand dollars

Letter from albert Einstein that was addressed to the physics teacher Arthur L. Converse, was sold at auction for $ 53,503, reports the Washington Times.

It is noteworthy that the initial rate was 15 thousand dollars. The identity of the buyer was not disclosed.

As noted by the representatives of the auction, a letter many years was kept in the family of converse. From the text of the letters representing the answers to the questions of the converse, we can conclude that it was related to the theory of relativity and the experiments – in particular, it mentioned that the experimental results can be explained by electrostatic theories, but the essence of the experiments was not disclosed.

Perhaps the experiment wasn’t even conducted in reality and was mental.
