Ukraine and Canada signed an Agreement on cooperation in the defense sphere. This was announced on Twitter by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, Andriy Shevchenko.

Earlier it was reported that Poltorak in Canada discussed with Freeland security in Ukraine.
In the framework of the official visit of the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak met with the Minister of national defence of Canada Hargita Sagana and chief of the General Staff Colonel-General Jonathan Vance.
“The meeting began with the Minister of national defence of Canada Hargita Sagana and chief of the General Staff Colonel-General Jonathan Vance. On the agenda is the issue of security situation in Ukraine and the subsequent signing of the agreement on defense cooperation”, – Poltorak wrote on his page in Facebook.
We will remind, on April 2 began a working visit of the Minister of defence of Ukraine army General of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak in Canada.
During the visit scheduled the meeting of the Minister of defense of Ukraine, Minister of national defence of Canada Hargita Sajjana and the official signing of the “Agreement on defense cooperation between the Ministry of defence of Ukraine and the Ministry of national defence of Canada and of the canadian armed forces”, as well as hold several bilateral talks and meetings.
