President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he agreed with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel about the tripartite telephone conversations of leaders of Ukraine, Germany and France next week.
“Held a very effective negotiations with the German Chancellor, we agreed in the beginning of next week to hold telephone talks in a trilateral format with the participation of Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande regarding the revitalization process in the Minsk format,” Poroshenko told reporters in St Julian’s in Malta as a result of participation in the EPP summit.
Earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and European Council President Donald Tusk discussed the latest events in the Donbas and condemned Russia’s actionsaimed at violation of the Minsk agreements and undermine the peace process.
