Russian President Vladimir Putin not against to meet with the American leader Donald trump in the capital of Finland – Helsinki. This he said at the Arctic forum in Arkhangelsk.
On the question of where we could held a meeting with his American counterpart, he replied: “If such a meeting will be worked out, we’re ready. Helsinki is a good platform,” he wrote on Twitter journalist of the Kremlin pool Dmitry Smirnov.
Previously, their platform for the meeting of leaders of Russia and the United States offered the Ambassador of Slovenia to Russia Primoz, Sligo. He noted that Slovenia could trump arrange a meeting with Putin.
In turn, the Kremlin said that Putin’s meeting with trump may be held before the summit of “big twenty”, which is scheduled for July 20.
Still, Dmitry Peskov, said that since Donald trump became President of the United States, progress in bilateral relations between the two countries has not happened.
