Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Philip called upon Ukraine to expedite the appointment of its representative to the joint Commission for the demarcation of the border between the two countries.
“The issues we wanted to raise, is the question of the activities of the joint demarcation Commission is not yet resolved, and in this regard request to expedite the appointment of co-chair of the Commission from the Ukrainian side”, – he said during the meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman in Kiev on Monday.
Philip noted that the appointment of co-chair will unlock the work of the Commission.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine and Moldova today signed an agreement on the state border between the two countries.
