Georgia began to operate a visa-free regime with the EU

On Tuesday, March 28 (at 23:00 on March 27 Kyiv time) began to operate a visa-free regime of the EU for Georgia, writes TSN.

The decision to introduce visa-free regime for Georgian citizens on 8 March, published in the Official journal of the European Union. It was supposed to come into force in 20 days. This period has come exactly on 28 March.

We will remind, Council of the European Union adopted bezviz for Georgia on 27 February 2017 and March 1, the official ceremony of signing documents between the EU and Tbilisi.

Georgia has two days celebrating the beginning of a visa-free regime with the EU. A three-day celebration began on March 26 and finish in 28th, the day when the Georgians won the right to travel to the EU without visas.
