In Poland, developing a new migration policy, which separately consider Ukrainian workers

The Council of Ministers of Poland adopted a decision on the annulment of the document “Migration policy of Poland”, created in 2012, and intends to develop a new, where, in particular, it is planned to take into account the policy towards economic migrants from Ukraine, reports the Polish radio.

As reported the Minister of internal Affairs and administration of Poland Mariusz Blashak need to develop new migration policy of the state. He noticed that five years ago was not considered relevant to the problems that appeared in front of Poland.
This document did not take into account the situation of the migration crisis facing Europe, said Blashek.

The politician added, there are two important aspect of migration policy – the impact on the labour market and the security of citizens.

State Secretary of the Ministry of internal Affairs and administration Jakub Skiba noted that by creating a new migration policy, we must distinguish between refugees and economic migrants, and to oppose their auto relocation.

As he noted, need to “take into account the policy towards economic migrants from Ukraine.” This issue requires the cooperation of many state bodies, said Skiba.

The Ministry of internal Affairs and administration of Poland notes the need for concrete actions, such as thorough monitoring of migration processes, long-term thinking on the integration or assimilation of economic migrants and guarantee security in the context of terrorist threats.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of labour, family and social policy of Poland proposes to update the law “On employment promotion“, which proposes significant changes to the procedure of employment of Ukrainians.
